The Learning Commons at NERC is a unique area that allows students to utilize tutoring, library services, and the Student Academic Computing Center (SACC) within a shared space.

Do you have difficulty taking tests? Is your college workload demanding? Do you have trouble with writing assignments? Are you doing well but would like to do better?




The Learning Lab in the Learning Commons at NERC can help.

Learning Lab Services for Students


Visit the receptionist desk, schedule an appointment or attend one of our workshops or study groups. Do not wait until the last minute!

All services are free of charge to currently enrolled Community College of Philadelphia students.


Faculty Specialists – College faculty in Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Science can help you develop your skills.

Peer Tutors – Students who have taken the course and have undergone special training are available for one-on-one training

Workshops and Study Groups for:

Group Study Rooms are available upon request.
