Bridging Cultures Bookshelf : Muslim Journeys: Books

The Muslim Journeys Book Shelf is a collection of twenty-five books, and three DVD's awarded to libraries as part of a grant awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.

American Stories

The American Stories books tell how of our past and present cultural experiences are intertwined with that of American Muslims.

The collection by was develped by Professor Kambiz GhaneaBassiri, Reed College, Portland, Oregon.

Connected Histories

Connected Histories shows the interconnection of the past and present of Islam and the West.

The collection was developed by Professor Giancarlo Casale, University of Minnesota.

Literary Reflections

The Literary Reflections collection provides readers with insight of how themes of the Islamic culture are represented in literature. This collection was devleoped by Leila Golestaneh Austin, the Johns Hopkins University.
