The Community College of Philadelphia's Music Department currently offers 3 degree options. Students can pursue an A.A. in Music for either a Performance or Non-Performance option. There is also an A.A.S. in Sound Recording and Music Technology.
The Community College of Philadelphia's M.A.R.S Electronic Ensemble performs original music composed and produced by the members of the ensemble. The group is part of the College's Music Department, and many of the students involved are Sound Recording and Music Technology majors.
