This is a practical guide to voting and elections in Philadelphia.

How to Vote

The Steps to Voting (Philadelphia City Commissioners)

Elections in Philadelphia occur twice a year in May (Primary)  and November (General)
If you are not registered, you must register to vote by the deadline for that election
If the Election is a primary, you must register with a political party
Make a plan to vote in person or by mail
If in person, find your polling place
If by mail, fill out your ballot and send it in by the deadline
